Rule 1 Registration « Reply #1 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:23pm »
1. Registry
You will NEVER Role-Play here if you play with an unregistered characters. They must all be registered and accepted first. Any threads started by an unregistered character will be deleted if an unregistered character joins a thread, the posts will be deleted. If the unregistered character gets out of hand without Staff noticing until the last minute, yhe thread will be locked and moved to the archives immediately.

Rule 3 Flaming « Reply #3 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:24pm »
3. Flaming
Do not seek to insult, deride or lambaste other members; even a flame that you mean as a joke will not be accepted, unless it's obvious to all the other users reading your post that it's not intended to attack or offend. There are three classifications of flaming; unintended (where you did not even mean to insult the other user), minor (where you insult the other user on the spur of the moment without thinking) and major (where it's clear you are calmly trying to cause maximum distress to someone else).

4. Drama
You must keep harmful personal stuff off the boards. Do not seek to maliciously turn opinion within the community against another member, or seek to utterly discredit members you dislike, be it through truths or rumors.

Rule 6 Trolling « Reply #6 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:29pm »
6. trolling or neo-trolling
Trolling means deliberately seeking to cause damage to the community. Neo-trolling is another variant of this whereby you try to cause damage without making it seem like actual trolling (ie: subtle and intelligent trolling). This can include:
1. Maliciously exploiting 'loop holes' in the rules. 2. Seeking to constantly or massively undermine staff. 3. Massively or constantly publicly attacking the forum or how it is run on sites both associated and unassociated with the forum. 4. Privately plotting to cause problems on the forum. 5. Maliciously breaking rules. 9. No hacking, or issuing hack threats: This carries an immediate server ban. 10. Respect the mods: If a mod closes a thread, or tells you to quit doing something, then please listen to them. While what they ask for may not make sense to you, it will make sense to everyone else who want what's best for the forum. If you are unhappy with a mod, then do not make a public protest thread, but PM an administrator with the complaint and we will deal with it if necessary. You should have enough respect for mods and the time which they put in to be able to trust their judgment and the job that they do.

Rule 7 Bans « Reply #7 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:31pm »
7.1 Temporary Ban
Unleashed by only the administrators of the site and only the administrators of the site. A ban may only occur by an administrators, but this is incredibly rare. No one else can ban, and if there is a Ban there must or the administrators must state in the disiplinary board stating why they banned. This only lasts one week.
7.2 Permanent Ban
This is nuisance to the max to where the site is just better off without the person. Extremely rare, can only happen after constant amounts of warnings.

Rule 9 Evolution « Reply #8 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:35pm »
9. Evolution rules
Here is where we use a point system known as Poke Points (PP). Poke Points will help evolve your Pokemon.
How they work
You NEVER throw Poke Points away. Poke points are not regular items. The amount of Poke Points you have, the amount of Pokemon allowed to be evolved in your party.
If you have Pokemon in your storage this does not include them until the moment you switch and use them in the Role-Plays. Meaning, after you get a certain amount of points all your Pokemon can be evolved as long as you keep switching from party to storage and so forth, so on.
From 10 Poke Points and up, each Poke Point equals 1 evolved pokemon.
How to get Each Badge, Ribbon, or symbol you character receives is 1 point. Here we shall call them Poke Points. You need a certain amount of Poke Points to have evolved Pokemon. If your character is a leader you can battle another leader, if you win that earns you a Poke Point. It is explained in the chart above.
You can also get points by reaching a certain amount of posts described below. They are often awarded as prizes in contests held by staff.
Extra Points As a reward for being an active member you can recieve extra poke points after youve reached a certian post amount. The more you post the closer you are to getting more pokepoints.
1 Poke Point for having 100 posts 1 Poke Point for having 200 posts 1 Poke Point for having 300 posts 1 Poke Point for having 400 posts 1 Poke Point for having 500 posts
So forth, so on.
Rare Candy Rare Candies do not give you a Poke Point. They simply allow you to instantly evolve your Pokemon instead of having to ask Staff if you are allowed to use a Poke point in your thread to evolve your Pokemon.
Note: Rare Candies ignore Poke Points. You may have one Poke Point and have two evolutions, as opposed to only one. However, you must note which Pokemon have been evolved through the use of Rare Candies.

Rule 10 Catching « Reply #9 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:35pm »
10. Catching
Pokemon are now random through a generator the Staff will use. You may no longer make threads for catching Pokemon. The possibility of running into a Pokemon will be random at all times.
This rule is located in several places. Anyways. The rules is simple. Simply create a thread to where you make it where it looks like your charactor is looking for pokemon to catch. Then a staff member wil come and rp as the wild pokemon. You dont catch the pokemon yourself. Youd dont make the pokemon appear in the thread.
Staff members chose what pokemon you get. But its not all bad. We deceide pokemon we think that would help your team. Only admins may make legendaries appear. Mods can only make normal pokemon/safari pokemon.Only once in a while may mods give out shinies.Admins might give out more shinies but only to those deserving.
Plus you can hint in the post that your charactor is looking for a speific type or a specific pokemon. So the wild pokemon isnt always random if thats what your thinking.
Pokemon will not be evolved. You will only catch pre-evolutions. In rare cases staff may evolve the wild pokemon. This evoluion doesnt cost any PokePoints. If you want a evolution realy badly just be patient and get and train its pre-evolution please.

Rule 12 Characters « Reply #10 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:38pm »
12. Characters
Members are allowed to have one characters. Staff may have up to two. Do not let this rule bring you down though. There are many choices you can be instead of being a normal trainer. You can be a Trainer, Coordinator, Breeder, Ranger, Team Chaos, or Team Light.
Trainer
A Trainers job is simple. They collect, train and take care of their Pokemon. A Trainer also uses their Pokemon in battles. To be strong they now challenge Underground battles set up by Team Chaos to obtain a high reputation across the lands of Aero.
Coordinator
A Coordinator leads into a glamorous life. Competing in contests to show their Pokemon's beauty and the work that has gone into raising their Pokemon. With enough ribbons the can enter the grand festival with other top Coordinators.
Breeder
A Breeders job is simply loving and taking care of Pokemon. All people who have Pokemon do this. However, a breeders role is more thorough and is only about raising Pokemon instead of battling.
Ranger
Rangers are a breed of trainers that know how to live off the land and a strong sense of justice. They strive to protect the innocent and can often be found performing missions. The best Rangers around are called Top Rangers.
Team Chaos
The largest and most notorious criminal organization. More sinister than any criminal organization in the world. Team Chaos has taken almost complete control over Aero and has even set up Underground battles across Aero.
Team Light
The only group besides the Rangers that are seeking to stop Team Chaos and their reign of terror. Team Light, though different than the Rangers, work together to try and take down the notorious criminal organization.

Rule 13 Aero « Reply #11 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:39pm »
13. Aero
Aero is now the main Region of Pokemon Masters. Aero is full of dangerous Pokemon, few cities and towns, and small villages. This is the only Region that has not been harmed by the three, ferocious dragons.

Rule 14 Moves « Reply #12 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:40pm »
14. Moves
I love this rule, other Staff loves this rule, and so will you as a Member. Just like in the games and Anime you use four moves. The fun part is it can be any move you want it to be as long it it would originally learn it from the first place.
Meaning your Pokemon can use egg moves and level 50 moves right from the beginning if you want. Now, concerning our custom Pokemon, your Pokemon can use any move of it type and other moves belonging to its physical features. Please use the best of judgment belonging regarding to TM moves, and physical attributed moves.
We do not mind you putting moves in profiles even though it is unnecessary. Staff and Members will know when you cheat with moves. Go to the link below and click on a Pokemon to learn the proper moves it can.

Rule 15 Threads « Reply #13 on Dec 21, 2008, 2:44pm »
15. Role-Play Thread limit
You may only Role-Play in four threads MAX.ins for pokemon roles. Below is why the forum has a limit.
It has come to attention that at one point people have begun to Role-Play in more than three threads a time. Staff and Members. It seems harmless, but there are consequences. People tend to forget to post in one of the threads. Making others they Role-Played with feel neglected.
With the the others that feel neglected they tend to get bored waiting. And for some reason never Private Message (PM) the others. This can lead to inactivity and even eventually making the person not want to come back. Refrain yourself. Your not gonna get to your goals any faster if you Role-Play in six threads at once or just one.

Rule 17 Breeding « Reply #14 on Jan 31, 2009, 7:49pm »
17. Breeding
Here are the rules for for being a breeder. They are simple, and should be easy to understand.
1: Farms Breeders are the only ones who can own farms. You can also only breed Pokemon if you own a farm.
2: Breeding Breeding is simple. You should have some thread in your farm where you can post in when your Pokemon lay eggs. However, all you post is what Pokemon are being bred. For Example-
Metosaur is being bred with Ditto
A staff will then either edit your post or post below you, aprroving your claim for breeding and telling you how many eggs are being laid. They will also tell you when the eggs are hatching. You may choose the gender of the eggs.. This number will usually be between 2-6 eggs. Profile hint is: soitseemsiwasdemoted
Remember, one must be male and one must be female, and they both must be in the same egg group. Or one must be a ditto. And Pokemon of diffrent species will result in the eggs hatching in the breeders choice of the two parents lowest evolved form. Being bred with a Ditto always results in the Pokemon opposit of Ditto. YOU CAN ONLY POST ONCE A MONTH TO BREED POKEMON. YOU MUST THEN WAIT UNTILTHE NEXT MONTH TO BREED ANY OF YOUR POKEMON (Unless you have a Pheromone). It is up to you what is done with your eggs. You can keep them, give them away, or even sell them in the market.
Tip: A good name for your egg thread would be Hatchery, Incubator, or the best would probably be Nest.
